Our Carbon Footprint

This policy sets out the obligations of Extinguisher Doctor Limited, a company registered in England under number 08865208, whose registered office is at 39 Hodgson Crescent, Snodland, Kent. ME6 5NR (hereinafter referred to as the Company), in tackling the need to reduce its Carbon Dioxide emissions to help fight the effects of climate change. We have introduced measures to minimise energy use these include its use of energy for heating, lighting, and running of essential office equipment.

The Company will endeavor to reduce its contribution to air pollution by avoiding bad traffic congestion.

Use Of Natural Resources

The Company will endeavor to minimise its impact on the environment, by using natural resources to our best ability. Water is our main resource, and we seek to conserve it, especially in the refilling and washing of vehicles. Where possible, we will use a car wash that recycles water to wash company vehicles.

 

Waste Management And Disposal

The Company has adopted a policy that all recyclable waste is sent to facilities for recycling (not incineration). All our cardboard packaging is recycled locally, and any extinguishers that can be reprocessed and placed back into service are.  

Environmental Management

The Company will minimize its effect upon the environment and, in particular, protect groundwater and rivers from pollution caused by extinguishing agents.

Environmental Awareness

The Company will provide relevant and practical information, instruction, and training to employees who may impact the environment. 

Environmental Legislation

The Company complies with all applicable environmental legislation and regulations.
